Has it been a week already?!
Am I the only person who thinks time is escaping like sand in the palm of a hand?!
I really do wish someone would invent time travel already, and I don't mean the going-forward kind, because no one wants to grow old faster... It'd be nice to be able to go back in time to do what we wanted/planned to do before but ran out of time to do it! For me, it would be going back to my college years and study my ass off so I wouldn't be sitting on my ass now trying to master a ridiculous score on the LSAT so law schools will forgive my less than pleasing GPA. Heck. I'd probably want to go back further in time.. say kindergarden, the time of childhood blissful ignorance and joy! I could also go back in time to save the people I love from leaving me permanently... Just to think of the possibilities!! Although, it's probably a good thing that such time traveling ability hasn't been realized yet, because it would be most likely disastrous.
Anywhooo, the reason for the rant is because LSAT is grabbing me by my invisible tail right now and I am going semi-crazy. It really does make me wish I tried harder before. But I guess that's how I learn, that's how everyone learns. From the mistakes that I made in the past, I know to try and do better in the future. Whether it may be the third second-chance or a new opportunity, there is always the possibility that what I've learned in the past will help me improve. So I embrace my mistakes and failures; I won't let the possibility of failing prevent me from achieving my goal either!
Okay, that's enough optimism for the day. I look forward to emerging from the pile of books a new woman in six weeks!
